Meet the guitarist JOAO FADEL, the 2018 Utah State Instrument Championship winner on the category Finger Style Acoustic Guitar. He performed during the Ogden Music Festival on the Intermountain Acoustic Music Association contest where he was declared 2018 Utah State Champion.
Joao Fadel already started the production of his first solo acoustic album, soon to be released by Mile High Fadelity Records. Keep on tracking.

Considered very talented since early age, Joao Fadel has emerged as a fine classical fingerstyle guitarrist. Born in Curitiba - Brazil in 1981, he began his musical studies at age of 7 playing folk acoustic guitar and classical. As a teenager Joao Fadel joined the Acoustic Guitar Orchestra of Parana State when at age of 15 he was promoted soloist performing traditional Classical pieces such as Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons and J.S.Bach Violin Concerts.
Later on he began his studies on electric guitar, focusing on genres like rock, jazz and Brazilian popular music. Joao Fadel is the founder and guitar player of the progressive rock band Seven Side Diamond and have released 03 studio and 01 live albums. The praised third album Enigma created opportunities such as doing the opening act for the acclaimed British band YES while touring in Brazil.
After moving to the USA in 2015, Joao Fadel became an online student of Berklee College of Music where he was able to develop producing skills and be part of the music industry in a more active way. Nowadays Joao Fadel owns a publishing/recording company, works as collaborator musician/producer for several projects around the world while also attends contests and live performances.
Joao Fadel is the 2018 Utah State Instrument Championship winner for the Fingerstyle Acoustic Guitar category.
